Aim and scope


The print journal Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications publishes high-quality refereed original papers and may also include research problems. The journal is devoted to Classical and General Algebra with its applications to Computer Science and Combinatorics.

Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications is a single-blind peer-reviewed journal.

Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications was founded by Kazimierz Głazek in 1995. The journal provides a medium by which new ideas can be exchanged and discussed among researchers from diverse fields of general algebra. The aim is to support and develop algebraic-structural thinking in applied areas, especially in computer science. Original research articles, but also survey papers and short notes, are welcome. About 20 eminent professors and researchers from different countries working in different branches of general algebra have joined the editorial board. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed within approximately five months. The editors encourage contributions especially from the following algebraic fields
